Graphics Fairy

I stumbled upon these delightful pictures on Graphics Fairy while searching for vintage graphics. I've almost forgotten that I like this kind of graphics! :)

Excitedly Nervous

Just a quick post to say that I'm meeting a special person tomorrow. I'm feeling excited and nervous at the same time. I've never met this person before, we've only communicated through the internet. I'll tell you more about it next time. :)

In the mean time, here's something to keep you amused.

Migraines

I'll be on and off in the next few days. One reason: I've been having bad migraines... blame it on the weather: it's been horribly hot again. Blasting the A/C doesn't help either. :(

The next time I write I'll explain another reason behind my absence.

In the mean time, here's something to keep you smiling:

Charming things

Today is our onyx wedding anniversary.

Congratulations to us! Hehehe...

That's why this cat is wearing tinsels.
(No, it's not my cat.)

I received a Pandora chunky silver necklace with one dainty onyx charm. Quite pleased with it, as it means I could keep on adding more charms until my necklace is full to the brim.

Sometimes I don't know what I would like to receive as presents for occasions like birthdays and Christmases. The arrival of the said necklace has solved the problem: I can always ask for more charms for the necklace if I can't think of anything I want more. Woohoo! As long as the charms don't bury me like the cat on this photo...

It was difficult to find something onyx for hubby + his tenor saxophone needs a proper stand = hubby gets a black saxophone stand. Clever moi. :)

I'll be back on Wednesday with an interesting tale, I hope. Hehehe...

Tabouli Salad and Cats

Serves 4

3/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cracked wheat/bulgar
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup mint leaves
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 tomato, diced

Dressing:
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
pepper and salt to taste

1. Pour boiling water over wheat. Stand for 20 mins.
2. Add parsley, mint, onion, and tomato.
3. Combine the dressing ingredients. Toss to mix.

For a more gourmet take: serve on top of lettuce, sprinkled with pine nuts. Enjoy!

CATS
= my favourite animals.

My sis gave us a Stuff On My Cat Calender for Christmas. Love it!
