Nivea Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes

I didn't want to carry any cleansing oil with me on my last trip, in case I spilled them in my suitcase. Instead I took Nivea Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes "for normal and combination skin". I used them as makeup removers, before doing another round of cleansing with GROWN cleanser.

I love the "blobby" texture of the wipes, it's like doing a gentle exfoliation while wiping the makeup off my face. It removes waterproof mascara easily and didn't sting my eyes. Scent wise, it has generic Nivea smell, if you get what I mean.

I've finished the pack and I intend to re-purchase it. Partly because it's handy for travelling, but most importantly because my skin didn't react to it, which is always a good sign whenever I'm using a new product.

Verdict: a good wipes, especially handy for travelling.

I like wipes when I'm travelling and also when I can't be bothered to massage oil on my face for 3mins, but then I always follow up with a cleanser like you anyway! I think I've actually used these by Nivea myself (I know exactly what you mean about the way they smell!), but I'm now using some bio ones by an Italian brand called Fria which don't sting or irritate either. Yeah, that's one thing face wipes do normally: sting! I always get red rashes on the top part/sides of my cheeks when I use certain wipes...boooo! xx
PS: what brushes did you get? Bobbi Brown, MAC or...?

I don't mind the Nivea smell, reminding me of my childhood time. My mother used to slather us children with Nivea cream before swimming lessons, she said it's to prevent us from "ruining our skin". :)

Re: brushes - Nothing I've mentioned before. I'll do a post soon. Hehehe...
