What I Want and What I Get

This post is dedicated to the curious amongst you, who asked about the things I bought after I successfully completed the No Buy Challenge.

Here is what I originally wanted (and need, and still want, because I need the baby kabuki): Eco-Tools 5 piece Brush Set. From their website I read that Tesco and Superdrugs are supposed to stock them, I didn't realize that I had to launch a massive woman-hunt before finding anything at all. I couldn't find any on Superdrugs on any shops I've been to and I'm not keen to buy from online shop.

Result: I bought Eco-Tools 6 piece Brush Set instead. My verdict so far? They're really good synthetic brushes. Very soft hair, easy to manoeuvre, making my makeup products work better and quicker. Yup, the saying is true, your makeup is only as good as your brushes. The best thing? I only paid thirteen pounds and a bit, very good bargain, eh?! :D

I'll post more detailed reviews of the brushes once I've used them longer. From the result so far I intend to buy more as they're really good quality brushes. So yeah, a happy Music for now, having new toys to play with. Hehehe...

*** Edit: On another matter, is it me, or is it Blogger, I've been having lots of problems with posting things and also posting comments in the past week. Earlier on this post went missing, turned out the date was changed, not by me! Stupid program. :(

Is that all you've bought so far? If it is you've been very restrained.
I have a few Eco Tools brushes and I love them too, they're great quality and so cheap.

GQ, yes, I haven't bought anything else so far. :) I'm going through my "want" list slowly and deciding which one(s) I want first. As you know currently I'm living with PIL, so not much space to stow my stuffs. :(

I did buy some mineral foundation, reviews coming up soon. :D

Hello "addict on the mend"!! (Yes, I did read your comment on someone else's blog, hehe! I'm stalking you, it seems!!) Anyway, that looks like a nice set and at a very good price, but I agree, you NEED the kabuki. Every girl needs a Kabuki or two in her life! xx

Wow, I'm very impressed at your restraint. Are you planning a huge haul for when you're living in your own place again?

Anna, agree. With both stalking and kabuki. LOL. I've already owned 2 kabuki brushes, I need another one to make "Kabuki Trinity". Hehehe...

GQ, even I'm impressed with myself. :D I'm a bit fed up finding a space for keeping my loot in our tiny bedroom. I'm going to shout "FREEDOM!!!" and definitely get a MASSIVE haul when we finally get to live on our own again. Watch it, shops, I'm coming! :D

To Anna again: so I'm not really on the mend, am I? *wink*

If you can't find the kabuki let me know, I've seen it here and am happy to get one for you :)

Oh oh, DEFINITELY not on the mend! When are you moving out of the PIL's house, BTW? xx

Not sure yet, depending on some situations. :( Perhaps I should pack my bag and move to Como, I loved it there. :D
